So you had a tough day. Flunked an exam? Didn’t live up to someone’s expectations? Had a disagreement with your best friend? Well, don’t beat yourself up. Take a moment. Take a walk outside and regroup. You are not a screw up. You are a human doing the best you can. And it is challenging to please everyone, so don’t!
Indigos feel emotions to their core. When they are happy, it is contagious. But when they are down, it runs deep.
So now would be a good time to get out of this funk. A simple technique is through validation.
1. Write yourself a kind loving letter. That’s right. Just backup a bit and see yourself as if you were your own best friend. Your best friend wouldn’t berate you and make you feel worse. She would point out all the great characteristics you have and how wonderful you are. Save this letter and look at it whenever you are feeling down. And you can always add to the contents or even write yourself a new letter.
2. Look in the mirror, eye to eye, and say “I love you.” There might be some emotion that comes up: laughter, tears. This is natural, the important point in not to judge the emotion. All you do is reach for a better thought, “I love you”. Do this every day, as much as you can. It will get easier the more you do this exercise. If the word “love” does not come easily, say “I like you.“ and work your way up to “love”.
3. Connect to nature. And breathe. Earthing yourself will get you calm and focused.
4. Take 16 minutes, find a comfortable chair, and watch this video below. I have seen this ‘Validation’ video so many times and it has helped a lot. I think it will put whatever emotion you are feeling into a better perspective.

Although I am pretty comfortable with the etheric realms, I can find it challenging in the 3D.
My experience with ice skating is a perfect example.
When I first heard about a free skating rink in NYC, I was so excited and yet so scared. It reminded me of when I was in middle school and our class went on an all day ice skating trip out of the city. I hurt my knee pretty bad that day when I fell on the ice. My knee was swollen, I had to limp home and call my dad to come and take care of me. The experience impacted me greatly.
The last few times I was on the ice, I held onto the fence around the rink the entire time. Fear had gripped me so much I could not get myself to let go.
The idea of going skating again so many years later still brings up that painful memory, and has made me resistant to doing it. But I was determined to go since the rink was free and so near my home. I had to do a lot of EFT (body tapping technique to release emotional trauma), etheric cord cutting and other techniques to get past my basic fears. . Then I watched YouTube’s on How To Ice Skate. I figured it couldn’t hurt to get a refresher course.
When I got to the rink and I walked onto the ice, I was glued to the rim for the entire time. I did not fall and I skated for about a half an hour, slowly and hanging on to the wall. The next day, I went skating again. Still, I would not let go of the wall. Each day I became braver, and by the sixth day, I had released my fear of falling and finally found that I no longer needed the wall for support. I actually find that I now love ice skating.
As I know many Indigos have lots of insecurities, I felt it would be good to share this story. Everyone can’t be good at everything but with persistence and perseverance, success is inevitable. It’s good to feel successful in the 3D.

Tonight is a full moon. It happens approximately every 29 days. Sometimes there may be two full moons in one month, making the second full moon the Blue Moon.
This month there is only one, which is fine with me. The last full moon we had was quite striking as it brought us the wrath of Hurricane Sandy. I had only five days of no electric and limited water, but others in my city are still feeling the after effects.
The full moon has often been associated with crime, suicide, mental illness, disasters, accidents, birthrates, fertility, and even werewolves. Conventionally, lunar (moon) effects have been found to have little or nothing to do with human behavior. But as a spiritually sensitive person, I beg to differ. Having sleepless nights and bizarre dreams are common with the full moon.
Realizing that this is the last full moon before December 21, 2012, we decided to the ask the Full Moon of Love and Light if there was anything it wanted to share with us humans :
“Now is the time to sit and breathe and contemplate. 12/21/12 is not a time for atonement. It is a time to start anew, to begin again. The slate has been wiped clean. The days are no longer raccounted for. (That’s why the Mayan calendar ends).
To start over, make a plan. Make it clear which new vibration you choose to have in your life. See it in your mind’s eye and make it into a reality. Don’t “want” anything. Just “feel” it already there. Thank you.”
The ability to start over and rebuild from any point in your life is clear. Intention is everything. Believe it and it is so.

With all the changes that are going on on our planet Earth, and with me being quite an ultra sensitive person, I decided to take a subway ride to the beach. The ocean, for me, is one of the quickest and easiest ways to get grounded.I am a Pisces (the fish) and that may have something to do with it as well.
I find that it is extremely difficult to stay grounded while living in New York City. I love my city parks, but hugging a tree can only do so much. So off to the beach I went.
I find that the best time to go to the beach is at the end of the day. There are less people and there is less sun exposure. I feel most grounded when I am at the shoreline, partially in the water.
At this location, I am able to have contact with both the sand and water elements. I like to stick my hands in the water to commune with nature.
Just for a change in pace, instead of talking to the mermaids, (see my previous blog), I spoke with the dolphins. They said they were Bottlenose Dolphins. I asked them if they had any guidance they could tell me. What a silly question! Of course they had plenty to tell me. Here’s the abbreviated list :
· -Eat more sea vegetables
· -Make sure your drinking water is from a good source
· -Smile
They said that sea vegetables are important to eat now, especially since it is packed with B vitamins that can help handle our stress from the changing environment. http/www.livestrong.com/article/383060-what-do-sea-veg-vitamins-do-for-you/
Not to mention that it will help us to detox majorly. You can have a quick read and easy recipe from my mom’s blog: http/thebrandwellnesscenter.com/apps/blog/show/5552493-seaweed-salad-anyone-
Due to the many chemicals that are put into our drinking water, the dolphins suggested looking into filters or reverse osmosis systems to purify the water more. It’s not just the fluoride. It’s other chemicals as well.
The Bottlenose Dolphins said that Smiling raises your vibrational energy, which is really important. Actually from many studies done, this is very true. I have heard that if you look into a mirror for 20 minutes a day and keep smiling and looking at yourself smiling, then your body chemistry will change in a short period of time. Eventually, all depression will disappear, and your entire disposition will change.
I guess that is why dolphins always have a smile on their faces. They really are brilliant creatures.

I was just doing a little Spring cleaning this afternoon, and discovered some handmade greeting cards that my daughter had made for me when she was young. Deep emotions welled up from within as I looked through the many homemade birthday and Mother’s day cards that she had created, some with three dimensional moving parts and beautiful poetry. Hallmark doesn’t even come close to the intricacies and care of these homemade cards.
It made me think about the many parents that I have met over the years and how they only wanted their child to be “perfect” at everything. If their child wasn’t the best in academics, or art or music or gymnastics, then something must be wrong with their kid and their kid needed to be medicated or intensely tutored so that they could focus on achieving that perfection. The outcome would usually be disappointment for the parents and shame for the child when this perfection didn’t happen. Or worse, the child crashed and burned from non-stop after school intense activities or from medication side effects.
As a parent of an Indigo child, sometimes we have to take a step back and look at our child from a different point of view. Each child is perfect, whole and complete; and we are the chosen lucky ones that get to raise them. No one knows our children as well as we do. If teachers and professionals say “X” about your child or put a diagnostic label on her, that will still never define her capabilities.
As the parent of two grown Indigo Children, the best thing we can do for our children is love and support them as they find their own way. Not everyone can be a rocket scientist or celebrity. But each of us can be the best person that we can be.
Wishing everyone cherished memories on this special Mother’s Day!

So much energy is shifting on the planet. Earthquakes (small and big ones) are happening daily. Solar flares are happening daily. And as for us, many people are getting horribly sick, feeling out of sorts and having frequent bouts of anxiety, aches and pains, vertigo, sleepless nights, and just not feeling right.
Depending on where you are on your path of ascending, you may be feeling these symptoms intensely or really not at all. We have found, that the younger your age, the better able you can handle it. It is our older generation who are stuck in a slower frequency with unhealthy habits that are feeling the brunt of the shifts.
We have written several blogs about grounding , and it is always a good idea to review these so that you can do as much as possible to feel well. But here is another technique that I recently learned in acupuncture school.
There is a point on the sole of your foot called Kidney 1. Kidney 1 is located in the depression of the sole, when the foot is in plantar flexion. It is approximately at the anterior third and the posterior two thirds of the line from the web between the 2nd and 3rd toes (the big toe is the 1st toe) to the back of the heel.
Kidney 1 Point
Basically, it is on the bottom of both feet, between the 2nd and 3rd toes, a third down the foot. It is a great point to know as it helps with calming your mind and getting back into your body. Most of us are in our heads too much. When you are in your head, you are constantly thinking. Your thoughts are in the future or past, not in the present moment. When you are in your body, you are in the present moment. To stimulate this point, you can use acupressure and hold down the point with your fingers, or press into in with a grounding stone, like obsidian or rose quartz.
Sometimes it is not possible to hug a tree or connect to Mother Earth. This is a good backup for those situations. Perfect for when you are anxious taking an exam or anytime you are feeling ungrounded.
Try it and see. I would love some feedback.

Have you been feeling off lately?
It may have started a little before Thanksgiving Day and then escalated on that Thursday or Friday morning, since the planets around us were in a very unusual alignment on those days. Besides being in Mercury Retrograde, we are also experiencing unusual amounts of solar flares.
A solar flare is a magnetic storm on the Sun which appears as a very bright spot and a gaseous surface eruption. Solar flares release huge amounts of high energy particles and gases that are tremendously hot. They are ejected thousands of miles from the surface of the Sun. And there appears to be a direct connection between the Sun’s solar storms and human biology.
The prophecies of the Mayan elders speak of a changing paradigm during our era. The words of the Maya say that we are now in a time of “change and conflict”. The change is coming from the "outside” in the way of weather, natural phenomena, celestial disturbance (sun flares) and manmade self-inflicted trauma. The conflict comes from the ‘inside’ in the way of personal challenge, grief, bewilderment, depression, anxiety, and fear. It is said we are at a time of choosing a new path, deciding on a new self and community direction, venturing into the unknown, finding our true identity of being. Others will choose to stay on the same road, stay with the familiar, and place great effort to maintain “predictability".
The photonic (sun) energy now coming to Earth, is affecting our biology and our minds. Our thoughts create our reality (Law of Attraction) so it is important that we focus on what we want, rather than we don’t want. Otherwise, we will manifest more of what we don’t want. If you are in the process of change and transformation (who isn’t?), this solar energy may work well for you. On the other hand, if you are stuck in the past through grief and anger, you will simply manifest more reasons to remain stuck in victimization until you are ready to release it. So it is really important to be conscious and think positive to manifest more positive outcomes.
Solar flares are very disruptive to those of us who are sensitive: tiredness, dizziness, hearing issues, shakiness, feeling ungrounded, floaty, nauseous, vertigo, anxiety, depression, hot flashes and difficulty breathing. This is the short list.
This morning I woke up shaky. No matter how much water or nourishment I put in my body, I still felt like I was trembling. For a couple of days, my mom has had bouts of vertigo and feeling like she was in an echo chamber, in addition to spaciness and hot sweats. (No, she doesn't have an ear infection).
Being the healers that we are, we cleared the karmic issues with people, places and things, used acupressure and plants to ground, took salt baths, ate grounding foods like beets, carrots, and turnips and used chakra balancing tuning folks thinking that would help. These techniques gave some relief, but only to a certain degree.
I channeled into the goddess energy to get some assistance. I spoke to Kali and Isis. They both said that the Earth was going through some radical shifts. Their recommendations were to stay grounded, eat really healthy, and connect with the grid
You can read our many other blogs on these topics (grounding, eating healthy) for more information. We’re doing the best we can. And we hope this information assists you through this transition period.
Below are some other websites that explain the solar flares and their implications. We know that this will be helpful at this challenging time.
Sending much peace and healing energy to you and Mother Earth.

In conventional circles, Thanksgiving is when we stuff our faces, and show off to our family. But as Indigos, we know that Thanksgiving is a time to remember our blessings and feel gratitude for them.
Reflecting on the spirit of the holiday, here are some channeled words of wisdom from the original Pilgrims at the original Thanksgiving celebration.
We were scared; most of our food supplies were gone. Our people were dying or sick and we were not prepared for the cold season ahead. The native people, of this new land, opened their homes to us. They provided food; took care of our sick and helped us bury the dead.
These glorious people taught us how to forage, and to redefine our own limitations. They were our light when there was darkness all around us. For this we are grateful. For this we give thanks. Amen.
I hope this holiday reminds you of the many blessings present in your life. Situations we face today are not as dire as those the Pilgrims faced, and I am grateful for this.
In my life, gratitude is a daily habit, like brushing my teeth or combing my hair. Today is just a more conscious version of it. Time for a gratitude dance!

Although most people would arrive at the beach sometime in the middle of the day to soak up the rays and get some color, I am not most people.
In this modern day of Vitamin D deficiency that is contributing to a plethora of illnesses (depression, osteoporosis, chronic fatigue, heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and of course, rickets), I have come to believe that it is extremely important to get a safe dose of the Sunshine Vitamin (Vitamin D) whenever you can.
Since I am unwilling to get a sunburn and deal with the sequelae of pain, and I have no desire to look like a glowing alien or burnt toast, I have to be pretty conscious about how I get my exposure to sunshine.
Indigos are way too sensitive to everything, including the sun. So we need to follow some simple common sense rules to avoid overexposure.
I arrived at the beach at six p.m. It was beautiful. The sun was not as intense as it would have been during the earlier hours; plus the mobs of people that were already there were leaving. It couldn’t have been better. The quiet solitude of the semi- deserted beach, along with the cool breeze of the ocean was absolutely perfect.
The main purpose of my expedition was to get grounded and to detox. As you know from my other blogs, this is probably the most important aspect for Indigos to stay healthy. Actually in this fast paced world, it is probably the most important aspect for anyone to stay healthy. The beach and ocean salt water were the ideal environment to achieve this. In clearings, we have found wet earth, soil or sand helps expedite the grounding process due to the electrical charge being released by the body into the earth. (That will be another blog, I’m sure.)
I began with a long walk along the wet sand; my feet enjoying the coolness of the tide going in and out over my hot toes. After about 20 minutes, I felt moved to place my hands into the ocean water, and to read whatever it had to say.
It was then that I experienced something quite unique. Instantly, I was able to hear the voices of the Mermaids. In retrospect, there might have been some Mermen speaking as well, but I wasn’t really aware of it. Perhaps it is because I tend to resonate with the female energy in general, or perhaps Mother Earth (female energy connected to my feet) wanted the female energy of the ocean to speak to me.
No matter, for whatever reason, it was perfect. When I put my hands into the water, I instantly had the awareness of Mermaid energy. The Mermaid energies were able to help with the energy release process. They had words of encouragement to share and only assistance to give. It was as if I was being coached on how to ground better.
Some guidance that they would like me to pass on is to stay stationary at the shore line, which is where the water hits the sand. They said it is easier to stay grounded to both the water element and the sand (earth) element at the shoreline. It makes for a better clearing/ grounding/ detoxing experience. The other grounding tip they would like me to pass along is to breathe. The breathing should have a natural cadence, in through the nose and out through the mouth; deeply from the abdomen.
Try this the next time you want to get grounded and meet some new Mermaid friends. It worked for me!

As most of us already know, there are a lot of planetary shifts that have occurred in the recent few years. The most obvious well known aspect is the reversal of the magnetic north and south poles. Apparently this only happens once every 13,000 years, and for the first time, there just happens to be 7 billion people here on the planet to experience it. This polar shifting has created many repercussions that have manifested in the form of tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, and flooding, to name a few.
The other aspect that is worth noting is that the frequency of Earth has also shifted in the recent past. Earth's background base frequency, or "heartbeat," (called Schumann resonance, or SR) is rising dramatically. Though it varies among geographical regions, for decades the overall measurement was 7.8 cycles per second. This was once thought to be a constant; global military communications developed on this frequency. Recent reports set the rate at over 11 cycles, and climbing. Science doesn't know why,or what to make of it.
And now we come to May 21, 2011: Judgment Day or some people are saying it is the End of The World Day. Actually, it is neither. It is a time when Earth, Mercury, Venus and Mars will line up in a straight line. It is rare that this happens; only once every 26,000 years. And because of the proximity and pull of the planets, each of us may feel “off”.
Metaphysically, the veils between the different dimensions will be thinner, so don’t be surprised if you see, hear, or sense things not of this realm. To help prepare for this, it would be helpful to have a clean diet and do all you can to stay grounded. Try rereading some of our previous blogs on these topics to remind yourself how easy this can be done.
Always remember you are never alone. The Universal Energies of Love and Light are always supporting you. And be grateful that we are all here together at this time to experience the planetary shifts that raise our frequencies to a higher plane.
Blessings for all.
